Temperature resistance range of the more commonly used label stocks:
1. PET self-adhesive label
PET is a kind of fiber material, with good hard ductility, can withstand a certain high temperature, resist harsh environment, and prevent the erosion of strong acids and alkalis and other chemicals. Its commonly used fabrics are matte silver, matte white, bright silver, white and fully transparent.
Temperature resistance range of basic PET labels: -20°C~+120°C, minimum labeling temperature 10°C; The temperature resistance range of strong adhesion and cable PET labels: -20 °C ~ +100 °C, the minimum labeling temperature is 10 °C.
2. PP self-adhesive label
PP self-adhesive material is the most common basic consumable in advertising design. Depending on the coating, three types of black inks are used for printing: weak organic solvent black ink, pigment ink and dye ink. In it, the self-adhesive PP printed by the weak organic solvent black ink is also often called outdoor self-adhesive or oil-soluble self-adhesive, which can be applied outdoors without subfilm.
The color paste ink is printed, and it is called moisture-proof self-adhesive on the sales market, and it is only used indoors without coating subfilm; The dye ink prints out a water-soluble self-adhesive, which is not moisture-proof, and the coating melts after contact with water, so it must be applied indoors. Temperature resistance range of the label: -20 °C ~ +80 °C, the minimum labeling temperature is 7 °C.
3. PVC self-adhesive label
The temperature resistance range of general PVC labels: -10 °C ~ +60 °C, the minimum labeling temperature is 10 °C; Temperature resistance range of strong viscosity PVC label: -20 °C ~ +80 °C, minimum labeling temperature 7 °C; The temperature resistance range of high-temperature PVC label: -20°C~+280°C (280°C for ten minutes, 320°C for 10 seconds), and the minimum labeling temperature is 7°C. The temperature resistance range of ultra-low temperature PVC label: -196 °C ~ +165 °C, the minimum labeling temperature is -40 °C.
4. Thermal paper self-adhesive label
Thermal printing paper is a kind of production and processing paper, the principle of which is to apply a layer of "thermistor architectural coating" (thermistor color loss layer) to high-quality base paper.
Temperature resistance range of thermistor label: -15 °C ~ +60 °C (general three-proof), -50 °C ~ 90 °C (high-quality three-proof) at least 7 °C at the bottom of the label; Depending on the quality, the temperature resistance characteristics are different.
Temperature resistance range of removable thermal paper label: -50 °C ~ +90 °C, minimum labeling temperature 7 °C. "Movable" means that the label is attached to the object to be applied, and then after the label is removed, there is no residual superglue on the surface of the attached object.
